Pallidochromis is a ray-finned fish genus in the family Cichlidae. It is monotypic, containing only the species Pallidochromis tokolosh

It was first recognized as a species likely to belong to a new genus of cichlid in 1991 by Mark Smith, and was formally described by Turner in 1994, who created a new genus name for this cichlid.

This fish is endemic to the deep water of Lake Malawi.
